After leaks, rumors & rumblings, on January 25th, Activision & Sledgehammer Games unveiled the first DLC pack for Call of Duty: WWII. The Resistance features 3 Multiplayer Maps, 1 new War Operation, and the next episode in the Nazi Zombies series – The Darkest Shore.

On January 9th, Sledgehammer Games & Activision recently released a new trailer showing off the new Nazi Zombies episode in The Resistance DLC pack, dubbed “The Darkest Shore” where you and 3 other folks discover that you’re up against the most creepiest zombies yet…
Next up, on January 19th, Activision & Sledgehammer Games announced a new event for the release of The Resistance. Activision is currently sending out free game codes to fans of Call of Duty that has not played the game or bought the game, to join the fun. The new event consists of new content, free content, and these new content includes anything from a new division, new weapons, and new uniforms to display in-game. You can also participate in limited-time game mode events, rotating XP playlists across War Mode, Multiplayer, and Nazi Zombies. You can also log in to get a free Resistance Supply Drop…
On March 13th, Activision released an event for the spring season, and it’s one that’s familiar. The event is called “Shamrock & Awe,” which is an event that started life on Modern Warfare Remastered. In this event, you get more than just a splash of color. You get an update that is retrofitted for St. Patrick’s Day and beyond. HQ is dressed up in St. Patty gear. You can earn March Madness gear through March’s very own collections. The main menu has been overhauled to bring some kind of ease of navigation. Loading screens have been changed to give it more color. And finally, you get leprechauns running around in some modes to shake things up and make things fun for everyone…
On March 16th, Activision & Sledgehammer Games remade Shipment, and released it for Call of Duty: WWII. It’s called Shipment 1944, but it’s very much the same map as Modern Warfare’s “Shipment” map. Just retrofitted for 1944, the World War II theme.

On April 6th, Call of Duty: WWII got a major update with patch 1.13, which included not just files for The War Machine, it also included the Divisions Overhaul, which completely re-models how Divisions work. Some Division “perks” got swapped around and replaced into something else. Sledgehammer Games explained those changes…
